Happy International Literacy Day!!
More than 780 million of the world’s adults (nearly 2/3 of whom are women) do not know how to read or write. Between 94 and 115 million children lack access to education. International Literacy Day was established by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in 1965. How can you celebrate? Read a book, read a book to someone else, and get involved!
