Cynthia Leitich Smith and Mari Mancusi - from Austin, Texas - had dual release parties at Book People last weekend. Literary Lonestars were there and had a great time! There was vampire blood to drink and predator or prey cookies (with or without bacon!). We all snacked on bat cookies and chatted with a lot of local authors like Jennifer Ziegler and Chris Barton.
