Quick Review - Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins

Anna & The French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins
December 2011 by Dutton

From the Publisher:
Anna is looking forward to her senior year in Atlanta, where she has a great job, a loyal best friend, and a crush on the verge of becoming more. Which is why she is less than thrilled about being shipped off to boarding school in Paris—until she meets Étienne St. Claire: perfect, Parisian (and English and American, which makes for a swoon-worthy accent), and utterly irresistible. The only problem is that he's taken, and Anna might be, too, if anything comes of her almost-relationship back home.

As winter melts into spring, will a year of romantic near-misses end with the French kiss Anna—and readers—have long awaited?

Quick Review:
I read this book right after Christmas and realized I never wrote a review...zoinks (that's for you Cynthia1ll). Anyway, if you are into YA at all, which you are because you are here now, then you have read plenty of reviews about this book. I, like the other readers, loved this story so very much. Because I will say basically the same thing other reviewers have said, I am going to review this one a little differently.

This book is like finding the pair of shoes you have been dying for on a half-off sale rack.

When I read this book, I wanted my teenage daughter to read it. Immediately!

This book is like a red velvet cupcake with homemade cream cheese frosting - delish!

This book makes me want to go to Paris and I'm petrified of flying.

I craved croissants the entire time I read this book.

If I ran into a man named Étienne St. Claire, I would divorce my husband and marry St.. Claire.

...see, I told you liked this book! If you haven't gotten around to reading yet, what in the H are you waiting for?

5 Stars!
